Volunteer of the Month - Cindy Hafer

Cindy is one of our most dependable volunteers. Always agreeable, she is willing to help in any way she can from washing tables and chairs preparing for a special event, working out in the garden, to helping to park cars down in the out of the way back lot. Cindy is always on hand to assist with the Children’s Education programs, sharing her Master Gardener skills to good advantage.

She grew up in Anniston, Alabama as the youngest of five children. She received a tremendous education at that great university located in the Loveliest Village on the Plain, none other than Auburn University.

Cindy lived and worked in Lubbock, Texas before moving to Atlanta in 1985 where she worked as a legal secretary for ten years. Married to Randy Hafer since 1990, together they have five children and three grandchildren. Cindy enjoys tennis, travel, food, exercise, and of course her favorite activity is gardening.

We enjoy having Cindy with us here at Smith-Gilbert.
