Hypertufa

This class always fills up quickly so sign up early to learn how to take a mixture of peat moss, perlite, and concrete to make light-weight containers.  Forms and hypertufa mix provided so everyone will take home a container of their own.  Even more fun is watching Doug and Shon mix everything up in a wheelbarrow.  It’s always the best fun to watch other people working hard.  Our morning class is full.  However, we have opened a second class from 1:00 to 2:30.  Hope to see you there!

Smith-Gilbert Gardens is a premier metro Atlanta botanical garden and learning center located in Kennesaw, Georgia. Smith-Gilbert is a collector's garden with a wide variety of plant material including different outdoor contemporary sculptures and the historic Hiram Butler House. The Gardens offer educational programs for both children and adults and includes topics such as beekeeping, rock wall building, Bonsai gardening, caring for ferns, perennial flower beds, plein air painting classes, and a whole lot more.
