Smith-Gilbert Gardens is passionate about education and conservation. Your support is critical to turning our dream of providing a love of nature, art and history into a reality.
Member-only events are held during the year. In 2013 members will be invited to the following special events:
Friday, March 15 – St. Patrick’s Day party with Shepherd’s Pie and other delicious foods prepared by Carrie.
Sunday, May 5th – Fashion Show. While enjoying mimosas and brunch in the Garden, members will watch (or model in) a fashion show featuring clothing from Macy’s Department store.
Friday, June 21 – Summer Solstice Picnic. Members will enjoy badminton, corn-hole toss, croquet and other lawn games while walking and picnicking at the Gardens during the longest day of the year.
Friday, July 19 – Low Country Boil. We will provide plenty of napkins because this dinner catered by Carrie is going to be messy!
Friday, October 4 – Brats, Brews and Blues. Members love being in the Gardens after hours enjoying delicious food and making new friends.
